Aune – the ship’s main dining room
This comfortable restaurant is full of windows that allow you to enjoy spectacular views of the outside while you eat. Aune draws its name from a family of ship chandlers in Tromsø, Northern Norway, who supplied some of the great polar explorers as they headed into the wilderness. Dishes are international, often with a Norwegian twist, so expect honest, home-cooked flavours fit for an explorer. Breakfast buffets with made-to-order eggs give you the right start for your day and a generous lunch serving keeps you satisfied. Dinner will either be a buffet or three to five-course dinners.
Fredheim – casual international food
Relax here any time of the day to scan the horizon, chat over a cup of coffee and a snack, or order a meal from the wide-ranging menu. The open kitchen here is named after a famed trapper’s cabin in the Norwegian territory of Svalbard, not far from the North Pole. In the same way that that hunting cabin in Svalbard now attracts tourists from around the world, the Fredheim aboard our ships is also international in the dishes it serves. Whatever your craving, take your pick from such comfort food as grilled cheeseburgers, kebabs, hot dogs, and juicy steamed dumplings.
Lindstrøm – for exclusive fine dining
Welcome to our upscale dining concept, named in honour of the chef who journeyed with Roald Amundsen on his polar expeditions. Suite guests can dine at Lindstrøm all-inclusive for breakfast and dinner each day. Other guests are warmly invited here for either or both meals on an à la carte basis. Lindstrøm brings you the best of the best of gourmet Nordic cuisine, showcasing premium ingredients and inspired culinary creations. The dining room features classic Scandi-chic design and modern art. The wine list is also first class, the service impeccable, and the experience not to be missed.
