There are paths and hidden lagoons along the coastal waterways of Peggy’s Cove that many tourists and even locals alike do not get to witness. 

Today you will do more than just visit Peggy’s Cove…you will experience it! Departing the pier with your local guide enjoy a few of the city´s highlights as you travel the scenic lighthouse route to Peggy’s Cove. Just outside of this famous village is the Peggy’s Cove preservation area, where you will enjoy a one hour guided coastal hike with your experienced naturalist guide.

Enjoy spectacular scenic ocean vistas, scramble across ancient rocky slopes and enjoy postcard perfect photo opportunities.  Be sure to look for porcupine, mink, deer and eagles as well as the myriad of sea and bird life while keeping a keen eye out for whale. After all, this is the migratory route for local whale populations. 

After your hike, you will have time on your own at Peggy’s Cove to explore and pick up a souvenir or if you wish, or take time with your guide as you learn of the lobster fishery and see different styles of traps. This unique and adventurous tour to Peggy’s Cove is not to be missed!
