Scenery and insight
Your tour begins with a scenic drive from the port towards picturesque Álftafjörður. At the bottom of the fjord, we’ll begin our hike through the spectacular canyon Valagil, complete with majestic waterfalls and layers of ancient lava.
After your hike through stunning scenery, we’ll drive to Súðavík village and visit the fascinating Arctic Fox Center, which is a research centre, museum and café. Here you can learn more about Iceland’s only native land mammal.
