After meeting your guide at the port, you’ll take a scenic drive through the Frisian countryside towards the planetarium. 

Located in the living room of a Frisian canalside house, Eise Eisinga Planetarium is the world’s oldest functioning planetarium. After a short introduction, you can explore the site independently. Highlights include the moving model solar system built between 1774 and 1781 by Eise Eisinga, a wool carder. Then, take some time to wander the quaint town of Franeker.
