This tour is the perfect combination of culture, landscape and history of Baja California.

After establishing Loreto as the head of all missions, the Jesuits went up to the Sierra de la Giganta and chose a natural oasis as the location to establish their second mission, in honour of San Francisco Javier. Centuries later, this church is known as the crown jewel of all missions in California.

During this tour, we visit the mission and you learn about the history of the town of San Javier, the impressive mission, and the lifestyle of ancient natives. Your guide will also point out and explain the flora and fauna of the region.
