Join us on a 5-day coastal voyage of Norway's most scenic fjords, mountains and islands, as well as some of the freshest Scandinavian food to be found.
The below itinerary is the 5-day Tromsø to Bergen itinerary. Daily departures: April – October 2016 and April - October 2017
Fly into Tromsø via Oslo from London Gatwick or Manchester and explore the city, gateway to the Arctic Circle. Don’t forget to visit the Polaria wildlife centre before having a sumptuous three-course Scandinavian dinner on us, before boarding your Hurtigruten ship.
See the fishing villages of the stunning Lofoten Islands first hand, or head out to sea with the local fisherman to get your catch of the day. An optional mountain hike also promises spectacular views of the islands themselves.
You will be passing by the inspiring and dramatic scenery of the Seven Sisters mountain range. Local Nordic legends tell of how an arrow fi red by the troll Hestmannen formed the hole in the Torghatten Mountain.
The city of Trondheim awaits with its Gothic-style Nidaros Cathedral, a must-see for coastal travellers. We’ll be passing near to Norway’s iconic Atlantic Road, and you can also make an optional visit to a nearby working marble mine.
Take a stroll through Bergen’s UNESCO-listed Bryggen district with its charming, colourful wharfs. Why not also nip up to Mount Fløyen via the Fløibanen Funicular for a beautiful cityscape view before flying back to Gatwick or Manchester.
