Antarctica: Explore the South Atlantic, Antarctica and Patagonia - 22 October 2017

Experience untouched landscapes and dramatic icebergs at their best early in the season. This wildlife adventure is a haven for whale watchers and spotting sea pups and lions, dusky dolphins and migrating penguins. From Montevideo, MS Midnatsol takes you on an 18-day expedition to Peninsula Valdes, then on to the Falkland Islands before reaching the final frontier - Antarctica. Our return journey sees us visit Cape Horn and the wild fjords of Chile en route to our final destination, Punta Arenas.

Antarctica: Adventure the Chilean Fjords and Antarctica - 7 & 20 November 2017

From the steep mountains, glaciers and valleys of the Chilean fjords to close encounters with Antarctic wildlife. This 15-day voyage showcases the best of Patagonia and the last untouched continent on Earth. Enjoy close encounters with wildlife and glaciers, old whaling stations and relics, meet penguins on shore and watch whales from the deck. Puerto Williams in the Beagle Channel is the back-up alternative if it proves difficult to land on Cape Horn, either southbound or on our way back. On the return there will be another landing in the Chilean fjords before debarkation in Punta Arenas.

Antarctica: Discover Patagonia and Antarctica - 3 December 2017

Enjoy the best of the southern Patagonian coast and the remote continent of Antarctica. This 16-day expedition encompasses the Chilean fjords, Cape Horn and deserted Antarctic islands. Prepare to be amazed by the thriving wildlife ashore, and take part in our enriching lecture programme and activities with the Expedition Team on board MS Midnatsol. Sailing into the most remote area of the world, with its endless ocean and continent covered with snow and ice, you will feel like a true explorer. Here you will enjoy your days with landings and kayaking offering a close look at thousands of penguins and seals, and visits to the most interesting places. Turning back we will have another go at getting ashore in Cape Horn, before sailing into the Beagle Channel, have another landing in the Chilean fjords before debarkation in Punto Arenas.

Antarctica: The Legendary Magellen, Chilean Fjords and Antarctica - 17 December 2017

Starting in the Chilean fjords, we set sail south and spend five full days exploring the highlights of Antarctica, where we greet the hatching penguins and arriving seals and whales. This 18-day wildlife expedition continues onto the Falkland Islands, Cape Horn and back to the wild fjords of Chile before ending in Punta Arenas. Depending on the departure date, you could celebrate Christmas Eve on Cape Horn and New Year in Antarctica! Journey south among steep mountains, green valleys teeming with life and even glaciers in the Chilean fjords, before sailing through the extremely narrow Canal Gabriel and into the Garibaldi fjord. Here we take our small boats out for a closer look at the wildlife and the two glaciers at the end of the fjord.
