The King among fjords and the famous Flåm Mountain Railway
The Sognefjord is Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. This King among fjords lies in the middle of Norway’s fjords and stretches more than 200 kilometres in towards the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountain. Those who visit this dramatic landscape claim it to be one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world.
This organised round trip starts in Bergen with a beautiful boat journey on the Sognefjord, followed by a spectacular train journey on the Flåm Mountain Railway to Myrdal. From here you will catch the Bergen Railway, northern Europe’s highest altitude railway line, for a train ride back to Bergen.
