Natural nostalgia

Undergoing a complete refurbishment in spring 2023, MS Trollfjord is an homage both to Norwegian nature and our 130-year heritage sailing the Norwegian coast. The style of décor is classic, timeless, and unique in our fleet. You’ll notice details and flourishes that evoke a sense of nostalgia, harking back to a golden era of exclusive small-ship sailing.

Fitness, food, and fabulous views

The top of the ship is Deck 9. The furnished outdoor deck here is the place to go to enjoy some fresh air while the two-storey observation lounge offers unmatched views of the Norwegian coast from the bow. You’ll also find the panoramic sauna and enlarged fitness room up on Deck 9. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to work up a sweat without missing the spectacular scenery.

A show kitchen is located on this deck too, where our talented chefs impart their culinary skills to you in a series of cooking demonstrations. They will also prepare tastings of local beverages and delicacies for you to enjoy.

The high life

All rooms on Deck 8, including our sumptuous suites at the aft of the ship, have wide, long windows to flood them with natural light. They boast some of the best views on the ship. Next to the suites is the library and Esplin Johnson lounge, which in turn connects to the splendid à la carte dining room, where suite guests can take all three daily meals.

A chic bar can be found at the front of the ship on Deck 8. Comfortable and stylish, the area will feature modern and classic artwork as well as serve a range of Norwegian aquavit, including our own Linie brand stored in barrels on Deck 9.

Sleeping in style

Picking one of our Polar Outside or Arctic Superior cabins, or an Expedition Suite, grants you the precious luxury of being able to gaze out your window at the majestic Norwegian coast while still cuddled up in the comfort of your cabin. Each cabin has individual specifications.

The hub of the ship

Deck 5 is where the main restaurant is located, together with the onboard shop and an all-day dining bistro equipped with its own rotisserie grill.  On the same floor is the activity centre where your Coastal Experience Team will be busy organising onboard activities, optional hikes, or booking you on exciting excursions.

At the front of the ship on Deck 5 is a large lecture hall with two side rooms. The Coastal Experience Team will deliver thought-provoking lectures here on an eclectic range of topics.
