Ship features

This floating basecamp will be your home away from home as you explore the world around you. MS Maud has everything you need, ensuring you are ready to discover a world away from ordinary. It's the perfect size ship: big enough for a range of onboard facilities but small enough to sail close to the coast for breathtaking views and to access areas larger ships can't reach.

Welcome aboard

Find the perfect cabin or premium suite for your next expedition onboard MS Maud.

  • All our cabins and suites have private bathrooms with a shower and toiletries, a TV, a safe, European two-pin plug sockets, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

  • Indulge your inner explorer and opt for a spacious, serviced, and suitable suite for up to three people. Naturally, our suites include a full range of premium facilities: many include a private balcony, daily turn-down service and laundry, plus complimentary fine dining in Lindstrøm.

Your private oasis onboard, we have a range of cabins onboard MS Maud from the serviced Expedition Suites offering a range of facilities including private balconies. To the Arctic Superior cabins and Polar class cabins located across the ship.

Explorer lounge & bar

Situated at the front of the ship, the explorer bar and lounge provides a relaxing environment to unwind at the end of an adventurous day. With its floor-to-ceiling windows providing panoramic views of the breathtaking landscapes, this is the ideal spot to enjoy a drink prepared by our highly skilled and friendly bartenders.

The Science Center

Unlock your inner scientist! Found on deck 5, the Science Center is a hive of active research, analysis, and learning. Throughout your voyage, there will be multiple opportunities to get involved with Citizen Science projects and build a better understanding of the destinations we explore.

Aune

Named after the Norwegian ship dealer and polar expedition supplier Tinus Aune, this is our main dining room onboard MS Maud. Offering a buffet breakfast through to a set menu at dinner, Aune serves fresh produce reflecting the destinations we visit and our Norwegian heritage.

Fredheim

Bringing a relaxing atmosphere in which to recharge between excursions or at the end of the day, Fredheim is a great meeting place onboard. Named after the 1900s hunting station on Svalbard, Fredheim offers an informal dining experience - including the legendary milkshakes!

Fine Dining in Lindstrøm

Adolf Lindstrøm was the chef on Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen's legendary Arctic and Antarctic expeditions.

Named in his honour, Lindstrøm is our gourmet speciality restaurant onboard. Bringing a contemporary twist to fine dining, the restaurant serves exquisite meals prepared by our skilled chefs.

Wellness

Following a day of exciting exploration and adventure, we have many ways to unwind. Relax under the stars in one of our two hot tubs, or take in the scenery from within our sauna, offering a unique opportunity to recharge. Whilst for those who like to keep in shape for upcoming adventures, you are invited to take full advantage of our onboard gym.

Expedition Suite

Add some indulgence to your voyage aboard MS Maud and reserve one of our Expedition Suites. Spacious, serviced, and with bed combinations for up to three people, these well- appointed apartments offer special features such as private balconies, expansive windows, and minibars (charges apply). Suites feature double beds and a seating area, some with a sofa bed and bathtub. All have private bathrooms with a shower and toiletries, a TV, a safe, European two-pin plug sockets, tea-making facilities, and a single-serve coffee machine. Naturally, the accommodation includes a full range of premium facilities including daily turn-down service and laundry. Complimentary fine dining in our Lindstrøm restaurant is part of the experience, and a takeaway service means you can enjoy dinner exclusively. Champagne on ice and a platter of delicacies are provided for your enjoyment as you set sail.
