Driving through Puerto Montt you will see the colourful shingled houses and the neo-classical cathedral in the Plaza de Armas and the picturesque Angelmo Fishing Wharf. You will make a photo stop at a view point high above the city.
You will leave Puerto Montt and travel north passing lush countryside to Puerto Varas overlooking Lake Llanquihue, Chile’s largest lake.
Your final stop will be in Frutillar, founded in 1856 by German settlers, known for its alpine and traditional German-style architecture. As you explore this charming city, enjoy a drive through the old district and along the coastal avenue and a visit to the regional museum. A brief stop will be made to browse handicraft markets.
