One of the most exciting ways to get to know a country is by its food. Peru is a country with myriad textures, colours, aromas, flavours and ingredients. Lima has a very own culinary style, long established around the globe. This, in addition the natural warmth of the people, makes cooking a unique experience that Peruvians love to share.
We start our culinary experience by visiting a local market where we talk with vendors about the amazing variety of seasonal and local ingredients.
We then head to the kitchens of renowned Lima chef, Ignacio Barrios, located in the traditional seaside neighbourhood of Magdalena del Mar.
After cooking some traditional dishes, we make and consume our own Peruvian preparations! We then take time to learn more about Peruvian culture. You also receive a souvenir from Ignacio´s kitchen!
After this unique fulfilling experience, we return to the pier where the ship awaits.
