Landing is by tender boat, and getting on and off the boat requires a certain degree of mobility. Please note that this is a steep hike for guests with hiking experience and suitable shoes. Rainfall may cause this cancellation of this excursion on short notice.
Join us on a spectacular mountain hike in the idyllic Hjørundfjord region. We begin by taking an old farm road and then it’s a steep climb up the rugged pathway towards the top. After that, we ascend a stone stairway for the last 500 metres. Once you reach the summit, you’ll be greeted by a stunning view.
We continue following the trail up the hill to see the village of Sæbø and explore an abandoned bear cave.
We then take a coffee break in the Leknes valley, which overlooks the village of Urke with breathtaking views of the fjord arm and mountains, before we make our way back down. Taking the same road back, we stop off at the local shop to browse their authentic Norwegian goods.
