Welcome to an authentic fishing village. A long time ago, Nusfjord was the most important fishing village in Lofoten. These days, fishing is still important, but less central to the livelihood of the people here. Fortunately, this historic gem has been carefully preserved for future generations to experience.
Every year, the charming fishermen’s cabins here are the destination for thousands of tourists who want to experience Lofoten. Nusfjord is also a base for fishing trips and Northern Lights chasing on the Lofoten Islands.
