Puffins on the cliffs   

Enjoy the raw and majestic nature of Látrabjarg cliffs, where millions of birds provide an unforgettable experience for your eyes and ears!  The Látrabjarg puffins are perhaps the world’s most photographed, so bring your camera. You’ll walk with a local guide and learn more about the area before visiting Hnjótur Museum and Egill Ólafsson’s collection of historical objects from Westfjord.

  • Requirements: Layered clothing recommended with non-slip footwear.
  • Walking information: Mainly on paved flat surfaces, some incline and a few steps around the village.  Walking approx. 1.5km; drive time approx. 2.5 hrs
