Enjoy a short drive through the community to Outlook Park, with a Nordic-, timber-framed shelter with spotting scopes overlooking Frederick Sound. The structure was built by a local shipwright and is reminiscent of Norwegian longboats and stave churches. Perhaps you’ll spot a humpback whale, orca or an iceberg from nearby LeConte Glacier.

You then continue onto Sandy Beach, a local favourite with large tidal shore and historic site of Native fish traps. Your guide will accompany you across the Troll Bridge on a cantilevered walkway over the creek and then explore the rainforest along the beachfront on an elevated boardwalk. Stop along the way for pictures overlooking Frederick Sound, Horn Cliffs and the coastal mountain range bordering Canada. We’ll take a different route back to Main Street, exploring the community along the way.
