Cruise Overview

Machu Picchu to the Galápagos Islands on an expedition cruise

  • Incredible 13-day expedition cruise from Peru to Ecuador, taking in Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Quito and the phenomenal Galápagos Islands.

  • Visit Ollytaytambo and take a scenic train ride to Machu Picchu, and explore the ruins of the Lost City of the Incas, among llamas and local birdlife.

  • Discover the endemic wildlife of UNESCO-protected Galápagos with our expert Expedition Team, from giant tortoises to Darwin's finches and iguanas.

A journey of discovery

Your adventure begins in Lima's UNESCO-listed historic centre before travelling up the Sacred Valley to visit Machu Picchu and its Incan ruins. Explore the vibrant, colourful Ecuadorian city of Quito, and the wondrous birdlife and active volcano in Cotopaxi National Park.

Sustainable exploration

We'll tour the Galápagos Islands in our small, carbon neutral expedition ship MS Santa Cruz II, while learning about Darwin's discoveries with the Expedition Team. Get up close to its natural wonders on hikes, in small glass-bottomed boats or kayaks. See the incredible diversity of animals and marine life on Santa Cruz, San Cristobal, Española, Baltra and more.
