We head to the Tromsø Wilderness Centre on Kvaløya Island, a scenic area with views of the ocean and mountains.

Greet 250 happy huskies

Here we will meet more than 250 huskies and puppies,
and be given an introduction to dog sledge driving and learn about the world’s longest dog sledge race, Iditarod, presented through unique pictures and film.

It’s important to wear good footwear if you want
to join the Wilderness Centre’s guide in exploring the plant and bird life around the centre, before meeting back in the lavvo for a hot drink and cake.
