Havøysund is the administrative centre of the Måsøy municipality, Norway. Its population in 2006 was 1,125.
Norsk Hydro has built a vindmill park on the island, which has become a landmark for people at sea. The 15 windmills are located at Gavlen, where the viewpoint and cafe Arctic view provides a undisturbed view towards the Barents Sea and to the surrounding arctic archipelago.Havøysund is also a stop on Hurtigruten, between Hammerfest and Honningsvåg.
