MS Nordstjernen was built in 1956 for service on the Hurtigruten route.
This traditional working ship is rich in character and is another from favourite for many a Hurtigruten enthusiast. Having been modernised during the 1980s she has been used latterly for voyages around the Spitsbergen Archipelago.
