Today you will join MS Richard With for your leisurely voyage north towards Honningsvåg, keep your eyes open for the spectacular Northern Lights as you navigate through the inlets and channels of these cool waters (B,D).

Finnmark's landscape is austere in its beauty, teeming with wildlife. Watch for rookeries of puffins and gannets along the cliffs and pods of orca hunting for herring during the season.

On arrival in Honningsvåg you will have time to explore the town by the North Cape. New Year dinner will be served on board before you are transferred to the North Cape for the New Year celebrations at mainland Europe’s northernmost point before returning to the ship to stay overnight (B,L,D).

The ships sets sail southwards back towards Tromsø. You will also visit the town of Alta where the ship stays overnight, giving you the chance to participate in optional excursions and have free time to explore Alta (B,L,D).

Enjoy the voyage from Alta to Tromsø where you will arrive late evening and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay (B,L,D).

Depending on your return flight there may be free time to explore Tromsø before you depart (B).
