Rodebay is a small typical Greenlandic settlement with approximately 40 inhabitants and 200 Greenlandic dogs.
It is situated 12 km north of Ilulissat. A breathtaking boat ride to Rodebay (or Oqaatsut as it is called in Greenlandic), followed by a short walk through the settlement will give an insight into the life and history of this small Greenlandic community. Enjoy the fabulous lunch served at the “Restaurant H8”, where certain Greenlandic meat dishes can be enjoyed.
