Ilulissat is renowned for its beautiful and breathtaking Ice Fjord - best experienced from a boat. Sail in traditional red cutters to the estuary where gigantic icebergs in the northern part of the fjord are stranded.
You can see the structure of the ice, hear the sound and feel the cold streaming out. The gigantic icebergs are up to 100 meters above sea level. Remember to bring warm clothes for this excursion. Coffee/tea will be served on board.
