During the voyage you can hear presentations by experts in the region’s rich history, so that you can get even more out of the experiences which await.
You will be travelling in close contact with the elements all the way to the white continent. The sight of mighty glaciers calving into the sea, flocks of thousands of excited penguins, humpback whales and killer whales in the icy ocean – all these can be part of your richest experiences.

Visit the remote communities of the Falkland Islands. Thisunique Sub-Antarctic environment is home to more than 70 animal and bird species including the King Penguin and Albatross.
Head towards South Georgia. Lectures will prepareyou for the sights ahead.
We will be in South Georgia for two days, duringwhich time we hope to visit Grytviken whaling station, its museum, Shackleton’s grave, the whalers’ church, also the abandoned Norwegian whaling station at Strømsnes and Fortuna Bay. Our visit to South Georgia is concluded by sailing into the beautiful Drygalski Fjord with its majestic cliffs.
Whilst crossing the sea towards the Antarctic Peninsula, our fascinating presentations will help you prepare for the experience.
Spend the day on South Orkney Island discoveredby American and British sealers in 1821. We will sail by the Washington Strait and Coronation Island before heading towards Elephant Island and Antarctica.
Antarctica is full of fantastic impressions. Weather,wind, and ice conditions will determine our programme butlandings sites may include Deception Island, Cuverville Island, Neko Harbour, Lemaire Channel, Paradise Harbour, Petermann Island, Port Lockroy, Wilhelmina Bay, Antarctic Sound, and Brown Bluff. Look out for whales, dolphins, penguin colonies, seals, and different seabird species in addition to spectacular ice formations.
Sail north for Ushuaia and enjoy more lectures onyour way back to civilisation.
Disembark the MS Fram in Ushuaia and fly to Buenos Aires.
