A journey from Greenland to Iceland taking in the south and eastern region before sailing across the Denmark Strait to Iceland. From ancient Viking settlements to the beautiful setting of Evighedsfjorden, this voyage offers the chance to discover something of Greenland’s vast array of natural and historic treasures before ending in Iceland. Highlights include a visit to Qassiarsuk – the small community where the Viking Erik the Red settled in 982 when he was exiled from Iceland.  Here guests can visit the reconstructed longhouse and farm as well as the church Erik’s wife made him build.

There is also the chance to visit Greenland’s oldest town Nuuk, enjoy the scenery of Skjoldungen Island and see the large tabular icebergs calving into the sea before heading off to Isafjördur in Iceland and ending in Reykjavik.
