In the company of our knowledgeable crew and a superbly equipped vessel we will journey through the ice packed channels of the southern oceans, aboard the world’s leading explorer ship, the brand new MS Fram. For your ease and convenience the itinerary described below is based on your South America package and voyage and does not include intercontinental flights. This gives you the flexibility of adding your own flights whether it’s through Hurtigruten, online, through your local travel agent or by using your Airmiles. Voyage Itinerary
Day 1 - 2
Arrive Buenos Aires. Free Day.Day 3
Fly Ushuaia, embark MS Fram and sail south.Days 4 - 5
Cross the Drake Passage and head towards the Antarctica Peninsula. On board lecture and ample opportunities for wildlife sightings.Day 5 - 13
Antarctica. Voyaging along the Antarctic Peninsula, we aim to cross the Antarctic Polar Circle at 66°33’ South and explore Marguerite Bay and its surrounding islands.Exact itinerary will be dependent upon sea and weather conditions.
Days 13 - 14
Cross the Drake Passage back to Ushuaia, passing Cape Horn en route.Day 15
Arrive back in Ushuaia and disembark ship. Fly Buenos Aires.Day 16
Transfer for international flight
